These are the best—and wildest—days of our lives.
Ever since news broke March 3 that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had broken up, Vanderpump Rules fans have been searching for answers as to what went wrong in their nine-year romance. Now, as rumors of Sandoval's alleged affair with co-star Raquel Leviss continue circulating, one recent interview is raising more than just glasses.
While chatting with E! News at the season 10 premiere party in February, Sandoval and co-star Tom Schwartz were asked: If they ever did a throuple, is there anyone from the cast who could join?
"I've never even really thought of that, honestly," Sandoval replied.
Schwartz would beg to differ.
"Didn't it already happen?" he asked while laughing. "That was a reference to season five."
Sandoval replied, "Oh yah, Lala [Kent]." In season seven, Madix and Sandoval experienced a rift in their relationship when the TomTom co-owner told his friends a NSFW story involving his girlfriend and Lala. At the time, Ariana said that Tom had "betrayed my trust" in sharing the story without her permission, though the two eventually made up.
After his breakup with Madix this month, Sandoval released a statement to fans. "Hey, I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave Schwartz, my friends and family out of this situation," the Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner wrote on Instagram March 4. "This was a very personal thing."
"I will be taking a step back & taking a hiatus out of respect for my employees & partners," Sandoval added. "I need some time to address everything else. Sorry for everything."
E! News has reached out to reps for Sandoval, Madix and Leviss about the allegations but hasn't received a comment. (Read everything you need to know about the Vanderpump Rules scandal here.)
While Sandoval maintained in E! News' February interview that he and Madix were "doing great," Schwartz said he was ready to get his groove back after breaking up with Katie Maloney in March 2022 after a decade together.
In fact, Schwartz was ready to rebound in the romance department.
"Everything's working," he said. "Sometimes though, when you're in a relationship long term, the passion wanes. It ebbs and flows and you can't always keep you mojo 10 or 11 years in. You're going to have dry streaks. It waned a little bit, but I'm proud to report that little Tom is…I don't know what to say."
Sandoval replied, "Don't ask me about that. We have a pact."
Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
